An FB friend of mine told me the Democrats have a website up encouraging their loyalists to write letters into local newspapers praising the Obama Health cre bill. (BTW, Michael Steele -- where ARE you and the RNC already, taking notes I hope?) I used their website to submit the following letter to the editors of local papers.
I entitled my submission "Obaminable Healthcare." Here's what I said.

"November 7th, 2009 is a date that will live in infamy. On that date the United State House of Reresentatives indeed made history: It passed the biggest socialist grab for power this country has yet seen.

H.R. 3962 the "Affordable Health Care for America Act" forces people to pay thousands in fines and taxes for failure to comply with government mandated insurance. Sec. 412 (p. 272) of the bill says that employers must provide a "qualified plan" for their employees and pay 72.5% of the cost, and a smaller share of family coverage, or incur an 8% payroll TAX!! The Congressional Budget Office estimates that an individual earning $44,000 before taxes who purchases his own insurance will have to pay a $5,300 premium and an estimated $2,000 in out-of-pocket expenses, for a total of $7,300 a year, which is 17% of his pre-tax income. A family earning $102,100 a year before taxes will have to pay a $15,000 premium plus an estimated $5,300 out-of-pocket, for a $20,300 total, or 20% of its pre-tax income. People who do not comply will FACE PRISON -- all for choosing a health care plan that does not comply with what the feds think is proper!!

This is government control over people's choices. It is governmental take over of people's businesses and the freedom to choose how to spend their own money. It is marxism plain and simple , taking our money and dictating to us how we are to run our lives. It is an assault on individualism and capitalism -- the two driving forces behind this great nation.

America, it is time to STAND UP and defy this governmental threat to your liberty. If this bill becomes law, our country will be chained financially and crippled for decades. Call your Senators and tell them in no uncertain terms that this bill is wrong for America. Do it today while you still have the freedom to act.
