Rose Parade Crowd Boos Occupy Bullies

Boos greeted the post-Rose Parade Occupy protestors on Monday, January 2nd. Boos and empty bleachers. Traditionally, when the last float, band and equestrian unit in the Rose Parade passes and the parade concludes, what follows are janitors scooping up horse manure, along with individuals and groups hyping various political, religious and sundry causes. As reported in earlier articles at BigJournalism, this year's post-Rose Parade tag-alongs included a contingent of "Occupy The Rose Parade" malcontents with a hodgepodge of pathetic "floats", including a cheesy plastic bag "octopus of greed."

My video showing the Rose Parade crowd booing the "Occupy"ers has gone viral. I posted it to Breitbart.tv to show how the Occupods were bullying and harrassing regular people trying to leave after the prade had ended.

My sister-in-law took video from the stands at the beginning of the parade route. The crowd had not yet had a chance to disperse following the parade, so they booed the Occupy protesters. Further down the route, the crowd simply dispersed and ignored them.

My husband and daughter also attended the Rose Parade. Afterward when they attempted to get to their car among the dispersing crowds on Colorado Boulevard, they encountered the oncoming Occupy "paraders". But rather than allow them and other spectators to walk freely, the Occupy mob literally attempted to shove my husband out of the way of their "parade".

When he didn't accommodate them, he and my daughter were verbally abused by the Occupiers who walked through them with their banners and silly plastic octopus. And while disgraced lawyer, convicted thief and failed political Democrat candidate claimed a loyal following of 5000, it was obvious that the Occupy mob numbered no more than one or two hundred, many of whom were probably dispersing parade spectators.

The Occupy organizer (supposedly trained in crowd safety) tried to shove my husband out of the way, but like a typical bully he stopped when warned against such behavior. Then my husband fumbled to begin taping in the middle of the event (thank Steve Jobs for such amateur video protection devices!). His portion of the amateur video starts inside the belly of the beast and is self-explanatory. The Occupod was angry that someone had used citizen journalism to occupy his parade!

The shameless hypocrisy of the so called 99% is palpable: they believe that they are the only ones entitled on a public street and all others must make way for them. These are the same people who routinely blocked streets and intersections, disrupted businesses, took over public parks for months, raping and defecating along the way, preventing the free comings and goings of others. What their behavior demonstrates is the shear arrogance of the Occupy activism, their utter disdain for the law and the rights of others. It is they who are the one percent attempting to dominate with their fringe message of socialist control ably aided by the Make-Believe Media.

We now know that Governors Perry and Romney are actually moderates who played dueling banjos with their own books in order to snatch victory for liberal ideas from the jaws of Obama's certain defeat.

Like the Australian animal mix of mammal and bird, Perry the Platypus is a dangerous amalgam of liberal ideas wearing conservative cowboy boots. Perry’s positions on immigration are dangerous and schizophrenic at best. Boots on the ground can’t beat free college tuition and preference in admissions. Perry is playing the liberal race card by calling folks “heartless” who oppose his Dream Act. They just want a secure border and what’s wrong with that?

California Plastic Bag Ban Backfires

Last year the California state legislature wisely voted down a law that would have imposed a state-wide ban on single-use plastic bags in stores, you know, the carry out bags retail stores like Vons, Ralph’s, Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Wal-Mart use to sack the stuff you buy. But a handful of county supervisors, including those in Los Angeles County, have imposed their regional political will by banning those plastic bags throughout unincorporated areas of the state.

And banning plastic shopping bags isn’t enough. Now a Democrat legislator in the city of Los Angeles wants to ban both plastic and paper carry out bags to help cut costs of waste management (see, in the end it’s all about the money -- liberals in government can’t confiscate enough taxes and won’t cut pet programs).

The proffered warm and fuzzy intent of these local tyrannies is to protect the global environment from evil private trash. Yet the myriad exceptions to the rule prove that plastic (or paper for that matter) is not the true concern. If either plastic or paper were truly the environmental equivalent of deadly second-hand cigarette smoke, then these bans should have no exceptions whatsoever. No sandwich bags, no paper lunch bags, no trash bags, no plastic potato chip bags, no plastic six pack cola rings, no plastic packaging for toilet paper and no toilet paper either, and absolutely no medical pharmacy plastic bags!

The laws also force retailers to charge between 10 and 15 cents tax for every recyclable paper bag provided to customers. Ostensibly, this economic punishment will motivate customers to bring in their own re-useable “green” canvas totes (made of locally grown hemp no doubt). Really it is hush money payola to the retail stores to compensate them for going peacefully along with the cost of providing the paper bags and program “education.”

Here’s the good news: Consumers are already one step ahead of the government tyrants. The shopping bag bans do not apply to sales of plastic (or paper) bags. If they did, Hefty and Glad would soon be pulling out of California faster than Amazon. Retailer are just banned from “providing” the bags for free. Savvy patrons are already buying plastic trash bags in the store and using them to sack the rest of the groceries.

Thanks to California Commie Liberals’ red tape tyranny, plastic bag manufacturers now have a huge new market. Retailers can sell pre-packaged single-use plastic bags for a profit at a unit price well below the government mandated paper bag fee of ten to fifteen cents each, e.g. 25 plastic bags in a $1.00 dispensing tube. The new customer is the multi-tasking soccer mom who will be more than happy to pay something less than ten cents a piece to once again enjoy the convenience of plastic bags dispensed from a little “Bags to Go” plastic tube hanging in the check out aisle next to the trashy tabloids. Ownership transfers to the customer at check out who then hands the grocery clerk her newly purchased single use bags to sack groceries.

Find a way to hang the plastic bag dispensing tube from the unused cigarette lighter in the minivan and soccer moms all across California will stock up on extra tubes to sack the post game victory fast food debris and tie up the toddler’s disposable diaper while on the go. “

Color the “Bags To Go” tube bright neon green ... just to irritate the liberals.

Liberal Donors ignore, LA Times runs cover for CA Dem Candidate's Gangbanger Ties

A traditionally safe Democrat congressional seat is up for grabs in a special election in Los Angeles Tuesday, July 12th. Craig Huey is the GOP candidate. Janice Hahn is liberals' favorite to beat. The local FoxTV News ran a damning story exposing the Democrat candidate’s connection to a program that gave taxpayer money to Los Angeles gangbangers, including convicted rapists and gun traffickers. It is a must watch:

The Democrat responded by threatening legal action against the news station!! BreitbartTV and BigGovernment recently covered this scandal. So, to the Democrat’s rescue rides the liberal fish wrap known as The Los Angeles Times.

Reinforcing its role as trashy leftist tabloid, the Times responded with a story that repeatedly pronounced the Fox news report as “discredited” -- but without explaining “why” or “how” the report was discredited. The Fox News report is “discredited” because the Los Angeles Times just … said so.

The Times’ story then doubles down on stupid by uncritically reporting “claims” that GOP candidate Craig Huey is “suppressing women's votes.” Shocking claim, but how is Huey suppressing the women’s vote? By focusing the election on the economy instead of abortion! Yes, you read that correctly. Making the economy the issue in a Congressional election is sexist and suppresses the women’s vote, because The Los Angeles Times just … said so.

Continuing its feverish descent in Alinksyesque drivel, the Times explains that the GOP candidate is “out of step” with the “moderate” voters in the district because he opposes same sex marriage and favors abortion limitations. So, a “moderate” voter is one who supports gay marriage, opposes any limits on abortion, and never, ever is concerned with the economy, because The Los Angeles Times just … said so.

The Times sees nothing controversial with a local program that puts taxpayer money into gangbangers’ hands who then use that money for criminal activity and gun running. And, apparently, neither do liberal donors to Hahn's campaign:

The dearth in donations from GOP House members [to Craig Huey's campaign] also stands in contrast to the generosity of House Democrats, 27 of whom have contributed to Huey’s opponent, Los Angeles City Councilwoman Janice Hahn. That’s nearly four times as many as their House GOP counterparts.

Hahn received contributions from a slate of party leaders and a few Democrats outside of California, including Massachusetts Reps. John Tierney and Nikki Tsongas, Washington Rep. Norm Dicks, and New York Rep. Joe Crowley. Hahn also picked up checks from several party caucuses, including the Congressional Black Caucus and the New Democrat Coalition.

So just what is it about Democrats and their obsession with getting taxpayer money and guns into criminals' hands, justifying it with some sort of program to rehab or track bad guys and then trying to smother news reports with legal sabre rattling? We'll have to leave that question to Eric Holder's DOJ and the ATF because no one at The Los Angeles Times, Politico nor even one of Janice Hahn liberal donors apparently has the least concern about how Ms. Hahn used local taxpayers' dollars.

Would Palin Unite America with a Conservative Cabinet Campaign?

If Sarah Palin runs for President, how can she unite Americans behind her campaign given a strong field of candidates and the frenzied onslaught of Make-Believe Media lies? I cannot speak as a politician or a "strategerist," but as a mother, I want all my children to stop squabbling and work together as a team. As an American, I want politicians to do nothing less for the good of the nation.
Applying that maternal common sense to politics, Mrs. Palin could unite Americans around her Conservative Dream Cabinet. As the keystone to her campaign, she could announce her intent to give Americans a team to vote FOR, a conservative team with an all star line up to defeat Obama and the liberals. The only trouble may be the excess of excellent conservatives in the field.

The selling point would be that every leading conservative will be part of a Palin Conservative Cabinet for America. Solely by way of example, Michele Bachmann as VP would create an awesome dynamic feminine duo. Similarly, Herman Cain for VP would bring conservatism with private business success credentials along with bullet proof credibility against the hackneyed leftist race card challenge. Either Bachmann's experience as a tax attorney or Cain's business acumen could be put to good use rearranging the IRS.

Rick Santorum could replace Eric Holder as Attorney General, a perfect place to fight abortion, enforce DOMA, police abuses in Congress, and drain the racist DOJ policy fever swamp in one fell swoop.

Although not formally in the race yet, Rick Perry would be an excellent draft to run the EPA, cutting stifling environmental regulations and encouraging oil drilling and private business development. Likewise, Allen West could be tapped to head up the military. Of course either man would be yet another great Palin VP pick if either decide to throw their hats in.

And what if Mrs. Palin invited Ron Paul to head the Fed? Sweet for the libertarians.

I'll leave it to Sarah and her advisers to figure how to incorporate Pawlenty and other noble conservative candidates into her conservative cabinet. And in the true spirit of keeping enemies closer than friends, Sarah could bring the Establishment RINO Republicans like media darlings Mitt Romney and John Huntsman in too.

Instead of gradually weakening our conservative field by letting the Make-Believe Media pick the most moderate as the Republican default to face Obama in a remake of the 2008 Liberal versus Liberal Light battle, Sarah could unite those brave conservatives now running and thereby also unite independents who are craving conservative leadership that has gone wanting in the Republican party since the Contract with America.

A proffered Conservative Cabinet for America would give many Americans reasons to vote FOR their favorite candidates under Sarah's dynamic media mantle. That positive vote FOR conservatism coupled with people's desire to vote AGAINST Obama's disastrous policies could be a landslide winning tactic. And such a tactic could emasculate liberal critics who would no longer be able to pick on the girl but would have to take Conservatism on. It could avoid a lot of the partisan competition and blood letting by giving some of the lesser candidates a graceful way out as Palin becomes the woman to beat for the nomination.

One Conservative Nation. One Conservative Cabinet. One Conservative President. Reagan did it. Sarah Palin can too.

How Jews could Undercut S.F. Circumcision Ban: A Late Term Bris Milah!

Liberal logic illustrated: Come November in San Francisco, it may be illegal to circumcise your baby boy but you'll still have the have the right to kill him in the womb. A measure banning male circumcision has qualified for the city's November ballot.

Lloyd Schofield, the proponent of the Male Mutilation Ban, seeks to protect children from "forced circumcision," arguing it is a matter of human rights: "Circumcision is a decision that should be left] up to the choice of the individual -- not the parents, society or religion... This is a choice for body integrity."

Athough even the S.F. Chronicle calls the measure "wacky," Jewish groups are already concerned over the measure's First Amendment ramifications.

"For a city that's renowned for being progressive and open-minded, to even have to consider such an intolerant proposition ... it sets a dangerous precedent for all cities and states," said Rabbi Gil Yosef Leeds of Berkeley. Leeds is a certified "mohel," the person who traditionally performs ritual circumcisions in the Jewish faith.

If enacted, the circumcision ban would apply only to newborns and those under the age of 18. Violators would face fines and jail time. And the measure has no tolerance for religious exemptions.

But why worry about the First Amendment when there's an easy way to ... ahem!... circumvent any ban on male circumcision? Since abortionists can thoroughly dismember a fetus legally, certainly a trim job is...well, shall we say...no biggie. The proposed law does not ban the removel of preborn foreskin. I give you the late term bris by an in-utero Mohel!

Or better yet, just take a page from Dr. Kermit "Snips" Gosnell's approach: a partial birth bris! Abortionist prompts a breach "delivery" of the necessary little member while the Mohel stands by ready to perform the bris. And if something slips, why any legal liability can simply be scissored in utero by turning the partial birth bris back into a partial birth abortion.

And for those Jews objecting that a late term bris would break the eight day rule, what's a few days between birth and bris? Just think of it as a political sacrifice for peace with radical liberals -- kinda like Obama's 1967 boarder peace plan between Israel and Palestine.

Just like Isreal's right to exist depends upon the Golan Heights, circumcision in San Francisco may become all about location, location, location. And tyrannical liberal politics.

Obama's Secret Service GITMOs 7th grader for FaceBook Post, Media Advises Caution about Posting Political Speech

Thirteen year old Vito LaPinta used his Facebook account to post a concern for President Obama’s safety, reasonably positing suicide bombers might seek revenge in the aftermath of Usama Bin Laden’s assassination. The Washington boy’s Facebook post had NO connection whatever to his middle school. Not on school time. Not on school equipment. Not about school matters, other students or teachers.

A week later, in the middle of the school day, the Secret Service showed up at the 7th grader’s public school and, with the aide and assistance of the local Washington state police and the school principle and staff, they GITMoed this kid. Secret Service ~~water boarded~~ interrogated this 13 year old for half an hour at school away from his parents, without parental knowledge, without informed consent and without legal representation all because the Secret Service couldn’t be sure that a 7th grader’s social network post wasn‘t some sort of coded Al Qaida death threat against our illustrious Leader, Barack Obama.

If this had happened to a Muslim terrorist, the Make-Believe Media would be screaming bloody murder.

I doubt the poor kid even knew he had any rights to assert in the face of his principal, teacher and Tacoma state police wearing badges and Secret Service agents in suits and possibly packing government issued firearms. The school delayed informing the boy’s mother until the Feds’ ~~water boarding~~ interrogation of her son was already complete (security guard tipped mom off -- I guess the principal was too busy to make the call).

It’s been days since Vito LaPinta’s story appeared on Drudge and I‘ve been waiting to see the Make-Believe Media’s angle. Fox News picked up the story, and Yahoo ran a follow up report not on the boy’s civil rights or the mother’s legal options, but rather on the Not-So-Secret Service tweet confirming that Big Brother is indeed monitoring Fox News. (The Secret Service confirms it is indeed the Political Police monitoring all news at a fellow news network and Yahoo giggles over twitter etiquette!!! Ooops indeed.)

The issue of liberty within the original story seems to have been ignored by the serious media outlets. At MSNBC’s “Digital Life” blog, the take was flippancy with comments along the lines of “No Biggie”, or it’s all mom’s fault for not parenting properly. The writer Anthima Chansanchai quipped “if you think someone’s reading your tweets and Facebook posts, you’re probably right.” Her nearsighted caution was similarly parroted by Barabara E. Hernandez over at a local bay area NBC blog too: “keep your most controversial thoughts to your self” was her sage advice to Facebook fans.

At best, these ladies’ Bambi-esque “if you can’t say sumpthin’ nice…” analysis ignores the fundamental issue of liberty and free speech at stake and, at worst, accepts as normal the tyranny illustrated by government oversight imposed on everyday Americans’ political speech. Hopefully these ladies’ ovaries are even less functional than are their dysfunctional brains.

But set aside the lofty legal concepts of the 4th Amendment and Miranda rights. You don’t have to be an ACLU lawyer to figure this out. Whatever happened to the natural Mama Grizzly maternal instincts of protecting children against school yard government bullies?

BTW just where is the ACLU, that defender of minors who create questionable websites and who post provocative rap lyrics on line? Does the ACLU conveniently turn a blind eye when a Democrat President’s henchmen go around mugging childrens’ rights? So it would seem...

Contrast LaPinta’s case to the vigorous defense afforded by the ACLU and CBS to a kid who was sent home from school for wearing a T shirt sporting the image of President Bush bearing the words “International Terrorist.” And yes, you can still buy the T shirt here.

The ACLU was called in, followed by the MBM. Media interest in protecting student speech rights concerning any given president appears to depend on that president’s party affiliation.

So, what was a big story with Bush was a non-starter with Obama…. Typical leftist media, right? It’s worse than that. The T shirt kid dealt with school officials over a free speech issue that happened at the school. Nobody called in the Secret Service to interrogate the T shirt kid to determine whether he was plotting to kill President Bush from something he said out of school on his own time.

Lost in all of this is the media outrage over why anyone in the state, local or federal government had any right to corner any American, let alone a child, inside a secure government owned and operated building (public school) without legal guardian or lawyer for a vague concern over presidential safety over speech posted via the internet on Facebook .

Sadly, with today's twisted liberal bias in the MBM, this story would have gotten MBM coverage only if: 1) if a Republican President had sent his Secret Service to investigate the kid's public school English teacher and andy union connection to Al Qaida; and 2) if the school principal had offered littleVito LaPinta a sugar coated trans fat filled Twinkie or pint of chocolate milk after the interrogation was all over.

Mothers Organize First Pro-Life Walk at Pasadena's Rose Bowl

Never underestimate the power of motherhood to change the world.

About a year ago, some high schoolers came up with a fresh, brash idea to promote their after school club’s simple pro-life message: "Life Is For Everyone." These 14 to 16 year olds thought it would be great if they could organize a pro-life walk around Pasadena’s Rose Bowl. Their mothers agreed and together they acted to fulfill the goal. Walk4Life SoCal was born and began its mission to promote the first ever walk for life at Pasdena's Rose Bowl.

On Sunday March 27th, over 5,000 people registered to walk for the unborn, to send a positive message of life, to answer “yes” to the question of life in the womb. They recruited nationally known pro-life champions Lila Rose, African-American preacher Walter Hoye, film producer Jason (“Bella”) Jones, and Hispanic actress Karyme Lozano as speakers.

The event’s lead speaker, Los Angeles’ Archbishop Jose Gomez, blessed the event, proclaiming “all life is sacred from conception to natural death. Let us ask our good God to bless us today and to be with us in all of our efforts to promote the culture of life." The Archbishop echoed Pope John Paul II’s famous phrase “culture of life” in his remarks (not “culture of God” as was misreported). I was in attendance that day.

The only paper to report the Walk for Life was the Pasadena Star News, a local paper owned by the Los Angeles Newspaper Group. Predictably, the reporter totally missed the monumental story: Twelve mothers with a combined total of 71 children (yeah, life math is impressive) did what professionals charge big bucks to do. They organized and promoted a political march at the iconographic Rose Bowl, symbol of America college football competition and the envy of parade goers the world over.

Just like the Tea Party, these conservative women used every form of social media plus old-fashioned grassroots spread-the-word skills they could muster. And they did it for love. Love of their children. Love of unborn children. Love of Life. Love for women who do not know the truth of abortion, its pain, its finality, its scars.

The media and the abortionists slept like the proverbial hare while Life walked steadily to Los Angeles, into the heart of Leftist La La Land and its film-making mecca. Perhaps the event passed beneath the abortionists’ radar this year. Perhaps Planned Parethood underestimated what a handful of mothers could do inside of a year. No death cultist sicko protestors picketed the Rose Bowl walk...this year. That will certainly change.

Like the rebirth of the hero film genre, these conservative mothers have opened a new campaign, a real life “Battle LA” defending the sanctity of human life. Their simple big tent motto, Life Is For Everyone, can make conservatives and Reagan democrats across Californians cheer and “re-up” if only someone has the guts to run a brave, pro-life campaign.

Perhaps conservative mothers will show the way in 2012.

STOP Planned Parenthood's New Location in Duarte, CA

The Council of Duarte will hear Sara Howard, a representative of Planned Parenthood, give a presentation and overview describing Planned Parenthood's services (women's health no doubt!). I believe this is the first step towards getting the City's approval for a new PP center in Duarte.

O'Keefe's Videos Threaten NPR's Tax-Exempt Edge

Congress defunding NPR is throwing Brer Rabbit into the briar patch. NPR only gets 2% of its money from the U.S. Taxpyer. It's a slap on the wrist. However, revocation of NPR's tax-exempt status as a 501(c)(3) non-profit means donors cannot claim tax credit for "donating" money to sponor shows.

Without its tax-exempt status, NPR would have to compete with other broadcasting companies on an equal footing. That's the real thermo-nuclear threat posed by O'Keefe's undercover videos so far.

Without Planned Parenthood Who Wouldn't Be Here Today?

Planned Parenthood's newest ad campaign urges Senators to restore its public funding recently stripped by House vote. The ad portrays PP as a life-saving organization with a woman's poignant quote: "Without Planned Parenthood, I wouldn't be here today." It's unclear whether PP appreciates the callous irony of such a depiction, but here's a short counter-ad created by my teenage daughter to illustrate the point in case it does not:

It is important to ask who wouldn't be here today without Planned Parenthood. We are glad that "Carolyn" in the PP ad survived her cancer but, sadly, many others do not, and we are left to ponder who among the 50 million Americans aborted since Roe v. Wade might today be making the next great scientific breakthrough for cancer, HIV, birth defects, Alzheimer's, etc.

My message to Planned Parenthood: get out of the abortion business.

Dems Make Political Hay out of Giffords' Shooting Tragedy, introduce New Gun Control

Juxtapose these two recent news items and you have Republicans and Democrats in a nutshell.

Hours after the senseless shooting of Democrat Congresswoman Giffords, brand new Republican House Speaker of the House John Boenher postponed indefinitely the planned vote to repeal Obamacare, originally set for Wednesday, January 12th. A generous well-meaning gesture to reach across the aisle at a time of national tragedy by a noble, teary-eyed sap, I’m afraid.
As the hoary saying goes, no good deed goes unpunished.
Politico reports that liberal Democrat Carolyn McCarthy plans to promptly introduce new gun control legislation tomorrow (Monday) morning to capitalize on the Arizona massacre.

If Republicans inhibit McCarthy’s bill in any way whatsoever, you can bet your underwater mortgage the Make-Believe Media will scream vitriolic hyperbole all the while claiming that the laws we already have obviously weren’t enough to stop leftist pot-head Jared Loughner’s sick assassination plot. It won’t matter that at point blank range he could have dispatched the congresswoman more effectively with a good sharp kitchen knife.

The Rose Parade’s “Governor’s Award”-- for the float best depicting “life in California” -- could’ve been renamed the “Irony Award.” The winner, “Suenos de California” (Dreams of California) by the City of Sierra Madre, suffered an humiliating breakdown at the start of the parade and was unceremoniously towed the remainder of the course. What a perfect representation of once the Golden State’s current financial woes. California Dreamin’ it wasn’t.

And until 2012, when the state’s gerry-mandered electoral districts get a Pelosi-style facelift, there’s little hope for a solution that can tow California’s broken down economy out of its Democrat Ditch.

To address the government's growing focus on "distracted" driving, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood is exploring technology that will disable cell phones in vehicles.

What if you're not the driver but a passenger?
What if your car breaks down on the highway?
What if you've become lost late at night and you need directions?
What if, God forbid, you are in or witness an emergency situation and need police or fire protection?

Just like the groin gropers at the TSA or gun control fanatics in the government, LaHood is not identifying criminals (terrorists, felons or reckless drivers), but rather is criminalizing the object, in this case a cell phone.

What're they going to protect drivers from next?  How about French fries and hot coffee and children?

Quick! Who said this in the last 24 hour news cycle? "We will not tolerate the previous generation passing on its debts to the next…” Sounds like a Tea Party candidate, the kind you’d like to elect to Congress, doesn’t it?

Surprise!! It’s Aaron Porter, president of the National Union of…wait for it ….Students!!! He’s one of the blokes organizing the uprising of 40,000 students in Great Britain all because the Brits have finally realized that socialized education doesn’t work and consumers (read students) should actually have to pay the full cost services (education). They’re protesting because their degrees just cost too damn much. It just isn’t fair that they have to pay their fair share!!

It gets even better. Mr. Porter continued: “Nor will we pick up the bill to access a college and university education that was funded for them."

Sounds like they’re protesting an educational Ponzi socialist system that they inherited. Bewaahahahaha! Students can be taught! Seriously, I wonder what courses this guy’s parents have been paying for whilst he was away at college. Keynesian economics no doubt.

This guy, like lots of Brits and their counterpart American skulls full of mush, is a fundamentally confused conservative whom the pointy headed elitist socialist professors who populate universities like cockroaches have successfully reeducated.

Mr. Porter, welcome to the conservative movement. It IS wrong to have you pay for my stuff. Or debt. Or education. Or healthcare. I don’t want my kids to pay for America’s growing debt any more than I want Mr. Porter’s mum and dad to pay for his education. He should pay for his own stuff. Unfortunately, such simple capitalistic logic isn’t taught much in universities anymore.

In observing the education riots breaking out in England, I was struck that it was the students rioting over higher tuition. Where were the parents who are actually paying through their taxes? At the corner pub sucking down a Guinness? What sort of moral teaching did these genius Englishmen pass on to their spawn anyway?

The socialist system across the pond divorces responsibility from spending. Paying confiscatory taxes absolves one’s duty to pay for one’s own offspring to attend a high toned and fancy English university. They probably figure they’ve paid into the system with taxes so it’s time the government funded their kid’s degree plan – all 12 years of it. Sounds dangerously close to Social Security, doesn't it?

That’s why the Founding Fathers risked their lives, fortunes and sacred honor to break away from England's post-feudal mindset. There’s a lesson here, America.

Yesterday, President Barack Hussein Obama arrived in Glendale for an interview with a local Spanish language station just a few blocks from my home. Carumba! What traffic! But what I did not expect was his stopping by afterward to say hello to his favorite blogger mom Susan-in-Glendale before jetting off from Burbank airport.

A partial transcript has been kept...

Susan: "Mr. President, may I say I greatly respect your Office. But I must tell you, I am quite frustrated..."

Barack: "Susan, let me be clear, no one knows better than me about frustration, my youth spent in foreign and exotic lands, forced to attend private, elite schools in Hawaii and Cambridge. But let me say, I am concerned that your frustrations have colored your judgment, it is my understanding you may vote for some Republican candidates this election."

Susan: "You can count on that, sir."

Barack: "Then make no mistake, I'm certain this is merely your temporal and irrational emotional reaction to perceived negative economic conditions by which you've naively forgotten the many accomplishments of my Administration, most recently my Summer of Recovery."

Susan: "Yes, our family is still recovering. You won't have much luck putting lipstick on THAT pig..."

Barack: "Change isn't easy, and I'm certain you'd agree with me if you can only just take the time to analyze the totality of the national debt vis a vis my many accomplishments in a coherent and educated manner, which I imagine you can do as a once-fellow Occidental College student like myself. "

Susan: "I'm not so sure, Mr. P, and um, I left Oxy after a year to go to state school, so I'm not sure we really relate at that level."

Barack: "Perhaps, but let me be clear, in my travels throughout our country and our 57 states..."

Susan: "Um. 50. That's 50 states, sir."

Barack: "Hey, look, it says 57 right there on the teleprompter and besides, who's the President here? You've been watching too much Fox News, wanting to exclude 7 entire states from our country, while I say, let's embrace all the states, not just the ones we like. It's just like when I look at a U.S. coin and I read the inscription 'One Nation Under' -- I think to myself, 'we can do better, we shouldn't be going under, we can be "One Nation Above!" ' "

Susan: "Excuse me sir. Aren't you misstating what the coin says, it says "One Nation Under GOD"." You're omitting God, the Creator. And it's not the first time...

Barack: "See, I hate to say it, but again you're illustrating the dangers of listening to Rush Limbaugh and watching Fox News and becoming so misinformed. Make no mistake! We can be One Nation Above it all, rather than One Nation Going Under as Fox and the Republicans want with their politics of exclusion and confusion."

Susan: "Yes sir, I am getting confused."

How I'm Voting Nov. 2nd -- CALIF Judges for Supreme Court & L.A. Superior

Wondering why you should bother voting on the judges? Here's why:

In California, we have the unique ability to remove Supreme Court Justices during the Gubernatorial Election years. By voting no, the Justice is removed and a new one is nominated by the Governor. The Nominee is then confirmed by The Commission on Judicial Appointments. The commission has three members: the Chief Justice, the Attorney General, and the state's senior presiding justice of the Courts of Appeal.

While we may not get any better replacement in the short run, it is an opportunity to show our disapproval of nominee and the way that the Judiciary is being used to either make up law from the bench or kill laws that were voted on by the people. Source: Government For the People

Of course, it's a gamble who will be the next govenor and what sorts of judges he/she might appoint, but in some cases it's better to take the chance by ousting the current judicial occupant. We can "send a message" by voting NO to certain very liberal judges.

So, in the order that these judges appear on my "Official Sample Voter Guide," here's how I'm voting:

Justice Carlos Moreno is a classic “liberal activist” appointed by Bill Clinton to the Federal Court in 1998 and to the California Supreme Court by Gray Davis.

"The most recent battle over Proposition 8 and Marriage shows that [Moreno] will be as radical in his activism....Moreno and crew determined that the law was not retroactive even though it was law of the land at the time and the constitutional amendment was clear that no other marriage other than between a man and a woman was valid or recognized in California. The lawsuit to overturn the will of the voters only had one activist ready to oppose the new constitutional amendment, Moreno. The law, the people, and the constitution are just barriers to Moreno’s judicial activism. Moreno is a barrier to a Constitutional Republic and must be removed."

Moreno was also considered for appointment to the U.S. Supreme Court. If voters oust Moreno from the California Supreme Court, we will seriously cripple his chances of any future Supreme Court consideration.

N.O.W. Declares the "W" Word Hate Speech... except for Jerry Brown

So I guess now it is official. You cannot use the “W” word.

The National Organization of W**** continues to evade the media radar in its recent proclamations that

Brown’s use of the “W” word is in fact Hate Speech, but,
It is hate speech only from now on, effectively giving Jerry Brown’s campaign a pass for calling Meg Whitman a w****, and
N.O.W**** will continue to endorse Brown notwithstanding the “W" comment.

The media further has not pressured the two U.S. Senators from California, both of whom are w****, to announce whether they condemn Brown’s hate speech (a staffer, possibly Brown's own w*****, said the “W" word, which Brown said he liked and planned to use).

Brown, who is a w**** man running against a w**** w****, is still hoping to successfully play the race card. He enjoys continued if incompetent help from w**** w**** attorney Gloria Allred and Hispanic w**** Nicky Diaz who has filed suit against Whitman.

No word yet either from Nancy Pelosi and her Congressional W****s’ Caucus whether Brown’s invective harms the cause of w**** in politics and our popular culture or just political w**** in general.

How I'm voting Nov. 2nd - CALIF State Propositions

As a resident of California, here's how I'm voting on the state propositions:

NO on PROP 19 –– permits recreational use of Pot subject to state controls.
Why NO? Marijuana is a drug. Drugs should not be encouraged or legalized. Drug users shouldn't be invited into the state to try out our new pot party law. Creating a new state law legalizing pot will only create a bonanza for lawyers who will be able to use the new state law as a wedge to undermine federal laws banning weed.

YES on PROP 20 – Redistricting of Congressional Districts.
Why YES? Strips elected representatives of their political gerrymandering power and gives power to the people to draw congressional districts. A 14 member Redistricting Commission comprised of 5 Democrats, 5 Republicans, and 4 voters registered with neither party will now draw congressional district lines. Requires newly proposed district lines be approved by nine commissioners: 3 Democrats, 3 Republicans and 3 from neither party. Sounds better than what we have now.

NO on PROP 21 – State Parks and Wildlife Conservation Trust Fund Act.
Why NO? IT'S A NEW TAX AND WE CAN'T AFFORD ANY MORE TAXES. When you can't pay your mortgage, you give up your monthly mani-pedi. Maybe the legislators can trim bloated pensions, boon doggle welfare systems or reallocate their own pay and staffing budgets to repair the state parks nd protect wildlife, huh?

YES on PROP 22 - Local Taxpayer, Public Safety, Transportation Protection Act of 2010.
Why YES? A YES vote restricts the state's authority to use or redirect state fuel tax and local property tax monies. Basically takes away power from the state. Local taxes would stay local. Tea Partiers and California Republican Party disagree on this one.

YES on PROP 23 – California Jobs Initiative.
Why YES? This will protect over a million California jobs from leaving the state. Prop 23 suspends State laws requiring reduced greenhouse gas emissions that cause "global warming" (proven to be a total hoax) until California’s unemployment rate drops to 5.5 percent or less for four consecutive quarters. Voting YES stalls the socialist "green police" from crippling California's businesses.

NO on PROP 24 – Repeals Recent Legislation that would allow Businesses to Lower their Tax Liability.
WHY NO? Prop 24 takes away a new tax break for small businesses, punishing them further in bad economic times.

NO on PROP 25 – On Time Budget Act of 2010.
WHY NO? Great titles are misleading! Prop 25 would change the state constitution to allow the state legislature to pass tax increases as part of the budget with a bare majority vote instead of 2/3rds. Makes it easier to raise taxes and undo Prop 13.

YES on PROP 26 – 2/3s Vote for Fees and State Levies.
Why YES? Requires certain now hidden state and local fees be approved by 2/3s vote of the Legislature and certain local fees be approved by 2/3s of voters. Closes a loophole on these hidden taxes and fees. A great way to make it harder for the legislators to raise taxes.

NO on PROP 27 – Eliminates State Commission on Redistricting.
WHY NO? This is another head fake designed to UNDO PROP 20 should it pass. A YES vote will return the authority to draw district boundaries to the Legislature. Politicians should not be given the authority to draw their OWN district boundaries. Duh!

Maybe it's an electrical worker who recently lost his job. He voted for President Obama -- but hasn't been feeling engaged the past year. He's frustrated -- and no one's talked to him about why his vote matters.

Right now, you can be the person who makes sure each of them is committed to vote. You can be the person who reminds them why their vote matters. And you can be the person who ensures that they're standing in line at the polls on November 2nd.

Christmas Day 2009.
American resident Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, a member of the national terrorist database, pays cash for a one-way ticket, saunters through TSA security and onto Northwest Airlines flight 253 and, while in midair, ignites a bomb on the flight filled with 290 people. The bomb does not explode as well as designed, passengers subdue Abdulmutallab, and Flight 253 lands in Detroit.

72 hours pass.

President Obama makes his first, highly anticipated public statement on the first al Qaida terrorist attack in the United States since 9/11: “As Americans we will never give into fear and division.” After a few more sentences, he walks away from the podium, leaving a collective sense of “is that it?” Then he sends Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano to make the rounds of the Sunday news shows and report that Obama’s security measures “had worked” (though, one day later, Napolitano would report that they “had not worked”).

The President solemnly assures the American People “We will not rest until we find all who were involved.”

24 hours pass.

President Obama pulls the five iron from his bag, carefully planning his approach shot to the 8th hole green on Hawaii’s Luana Hills Country Club, when an aide breathlessly runs up to him with the phone. After a few words, POTUS instantly springs into action. Time is of the essence. As the New York Times describes the scene, “they suddenly jumped into the presidential motorcade and made a dramatic, high-speed departure.”

Had they found those involved in the terrorist attack? Was Obama delivering on his oath that he would not rest until those involved were captured? Not quite. It seems the son of a friend of the President had fallen off his surf board and scratched himself, though not requiring stitches.

It would be too easy merely to snicker at Obama’s massive overreaction to the latter scenario in inverse proportion to his massive under-reaction to the former. Nearly one year since his inauguration, we can safely conclude that this man has pathetically little appreciation for his office.

After all, Obama prostrates himself to foreign monarchs and despots, insults our loyal allies in England, abandons security defenses for budding democracies in Eastern Europe, and apologizes to, of all nations on Planet Earth, France (France!) for being arrogant!

Mel Brooks played the bumbling Governor Le Petomane in Blazing Saddles, but at least he provided comic relief and we were able to end the farce by walking out of the movie theater. Sadly, though, this isn’t a movie, and this theater has no exits, leastways not until 2012.

Leadership is an intangible quality difficult to describe, as human traits go. But no viable definition of leadership includes responding with flaccid indifference to the first domestic terror attack since 9/11 while simultaneously responding with lightning gusto to a stranger’s boo boo. Obama, the International Man of Action, needs better directing or scripting, lest he become President Le Petomane.

"Homoculturalism" infringes the Marriage Trademark

Giving homosexual bigots a badly needed political victory after a string of voter-led rejections in California, Maine, New York and New Jersey, the Washington D.C. City Council recently legalized gay “marriage” within its boundaries. What’s wrong with that you ask? Simple. Trademark infringement.

A trademark is a unique, recognizable name brand or turn of phrase used to sell a particular product. “Coca Cola” is one such famous trademark. Federal law protects the owner’s rights in the exclusive use of the brand indefinitely. The use of the brand is infringed if another company sells something using that brand without permission causing confusion among potential buyers.

Over the last thirty years, the activist “homoculturalist” (my term) agenda is one of demoralizing mainstream heterosexual culture by undermining traditional moral and cultural restraints on sexual behavior. The successful campaign has emboldened all forms of sexual displays – from public kissing to shacking up, from soft porn to S&M bondage, from cross dressing to gender mutations all in the name of “freedom from repression.” And yet they are not satisfied. We the People are not tolerant enough.

Homoculturalists now demand that the word “marriage” also apply to their brand of homosexual relationships. Except that the word is already defined. The marriage brand is already internationally known and well recognized as between a man and a woman.

The voters’ successful passage of Prop 8 in California defined “marriage” simply as between one man and one woman. That was all it said. In fact, Prop 8 didn’t do anything to the rights of gays or lesbians. It formally defined the social trademark called “marriage” as a heterosexual entity – a truth that everyone from the dawn of time commonly understood. Prop 8 therefore eliminated trademark confusion – there is no such thing as “gay marriage.”

And that makes homosexuals really irate. Their reaction to marriage is akin to Petrucchio’s demand of Kate in Shakespeare’s politically incorrect comedy “The Taming of the Shrew.” Radical homoculturalists insist that society figuratively say the sky is green in order to prove tolerance.

Homosexuals are free to enter into a similar union but they shouldn’t try to confuse society by usurping the “marriage” trademark. Do not redefine a word that already has a concrete meaning just because you want to. You are welcome to coin a new phrase – like “homoculturalist” -- just leave our word “marriage” alone. A little tolerance if you please.

The Climategate global warming hoax is an international fraud perpetrated by unscrupulous scientists on a global scale. It certainly rates the coveted “number 1” position in greatest all time political lies.

What’s in the “number 2” position you ask? Obamacare? Nope. Watergate? Not even close. Zippergate takes the full monty. The media hoax perpetrated by politicians and public figures and their backers starting with Kennedy’s Marilyn Monroe cover up, to Clinton’s Lewinsky cigar trade through a myriad of senators, congressmen, and public figures all caught cheating and finally culminating in Tiger Woods’ porn to pancakes smorgasbord.

Zippergate offends American women across the political spectrum. What is it with these guys? Why can’t these public figures keep their marital vows? One might excuse and pity Clinton since his wife is such a battle ax. But how in the world can anyone, male or female for that matter, justify Tiger Woods’ conquests? American women admire Mrs. Woods’ beauty and figure. Who wouldn’t? Woods’ infidelity is unsettling because it illustrates women’s deepest fear - - that no matter how beautiful or svelt a woman keeps herself, her husband is going to cheat anyway.

That sense of absolute marital betrayal is now part of the public political debate, in part thanks to Woods and Climategate. If so many scientists can lie so convincingly for so many years with so many willing media allies to create a global warming hoax, and if such a huge sports icon can effectively whitewash his true image then how can we ill-informed voters trust any politician’s public image?

Obama’s romance of the public has been exposed as a fraud. He’s not for “transparency in government.” He’s not for real solutions to economic problems. He’s a fraud, a radical leftist who is whispering sweet “hope and change” nothings in Americans’ ears while quietly stealing the next generation’s earnings by running up the national debt with his socialist takeover of banks, car companies, healthcare and possibly newspapers.

Too many politicians have betrayed their electoral vows to their spouse, the American voter. And what’s worse is that the media, like some two-faced desperate housewife, is in bed with these political liars and covering up for their indiscretions. The media was once the German Shepherd (pit bull?) of politics, sniffing out lies and warning its rightful master, the American public, when things seemed amiss. But no more. The 95% leftist mainstream media has been caught in bed with Woods, Obama and the rest all in attempt to mislead us by covering up the true facts and replacing them with image.

And we mothers, whose daily focus is the price of peanut butter, are the last to know the truth. Like Mrs. Woods, Americans have had it with the politician’s cheating. We want candidates whose private lives are is the same as their public presentation – note that I didn’t say we wanted pure immaculate virginal politicians. No we just want the truth. We’ll accept sins and transgressions so long as we know about it in advance of the political marriage called election day. Instead of choosing our own mates, the media is giving us arranged marriages, timely revealing sordid details about one party’s candidate days before the election while covering up scandal in the other side’s camp. Freedom of choice really takes on a different meaning now. And we women are absolutely sick of the cheating game.

So fair warning all you political cheats and media hacks. We’re looking for the five iron in time for November 2, 2010.

Copenhagen: Obama's Ascension

I am now an online columnist. My article below first appeared in the Online News Gold Coast Chroincle on Nov. 30, 2009 entitled "Climategate: Where Politics and Religion Unite." Check my "blog links" section for Gold Coast Chronicle.

Anthropogenic, or manmade, global warming is not open to debate. High Priest Al Gore said so. And how do we know this? Because the climatology scriptures (peer review journals) proved it. If warming skeptics had legitimate claims, so the argument goes, then naturally their arguments and supporting data would appear in such journals – a persuasive argument, ably assisted by the fact that global warming zealots controlled those journals.

Problem is, at least one such peer review journal broke ranks *gasp* and, in Galilean fashion, began publishing articles questioning "The True Faith" of climatology. Heresy!

How does the Church of Global Warming deal with heresy? Well, burning at the stake would impose too large of a carbon footprint, so instead they resort to the age-old traditional method of shunning. Enter “Climategate,” the recent disclosure of certain East Anglia emails (East Anglia is, in short, the Vatican of global warming theology, uh, research), and some of the disclosed emails provide insight into the secretive workings of the Brotherhood of Climatologists.

One March 2003 email from Michael Mann of Pennsylvania State University described in great candor how to shun, and thereby silence and professionally destroy, global warming skeptics:

"This was the danger of always criticising the skeptics for not publishing in the "peer-reviewed literature." Obviously, they found a solution to that–take over a journal! So what do we do about this? I think we have to stop considering “Climate Research” [the name of the journal in question] as a legitimate peer-reviewed journal. Perhaps we should encourage our colleagues in the climate research community to no longer submit to, or cite papers in, this journal. We would also need to consider what we tell or request of our more reasonable colleagues who currently sit on the editorial board…What do others think?"

No subtlety here. But then, religious zealotry rarely is.

As the leaked East Anglia emails prove, it is plain for the world to see the fraud behind the proselytizing of man-made global warming theory. Reflecting this dirty little secret, the Church even re-branded its dogma from “global warming” to “climate change” to provide necessary linguistic cover for the recent evidence that global temperatures have stabilized or dropped. But don’t hold your breath for the science-priests of Global Warming to recant. After all, at stake are their careers, reputations, hundreds of billions of dollars in research grants, and frequent junkets to five-star resorts in Aspen, Bahamas and Cortina for “climate conferences.” Heaven forbid!

Besides, Climategate is the biggest “crisis” manufactured by statists to date. And it’s working. Statists seek power and control over the individual, and have successfully attack DDT, fluorocarbons, incandescent light bulbs, herbicides that reduce crop blight, genetically modified crop seed that would allow starving nations to feed themselves, and many other wonderful inventions, all under the pretext of environmentalism.

The Sin of Industrialism, spread by Capitalist Demons, threatens the world to burn in the eternal fire of catastrophic global warming. Time to repent. Time to exorcise those Demons. Time for the industrial world to fast and give alms. Enter Copenhagen. In less than 10 days, the Teleprompter President heads to Copenhagen, ostensibly to cheer on the Copenhagen climate treaty, but in reality only to affirm the 21st century scientific equivalent of the Ptolemaic geocentric universe.

The Copenhagen treaty: What will it require of signatories? Here is a summary by Lord Christopher Monckton, former science advisor to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher:

“And what it says is this, that a world government is going to be created. The word 'government' actually appears as the first of three purposes of the new entity. The second purpose is the transfer of wealth from the countries of the West to third world countries, in satisfaction of what is called, coyly, 'climate debt' – because we’ve been burning CO2 and they haven’t. We’ve been screwing up the climate and they haven’t. And the third purpose of this new entity, this government, is enforcement.… "

"And the trouble is this; if that treaty is signed, if your Constitution says that it takes precedence over your Constitution (sic), and you can’t resign from that treaty unless you get agreement from all the other state parties – And because you’ll be the biggest paying country, they’re not going to let you out of it. "

"So, thank you, America. You were the beacon of freedom to the world. It is a privilege merely to stand on this soil of freedom while it is still free. But, in the next few weeks, unless you stop it, your president will sign your freedom, your democracy, and your prosperity away forever. And neither you nor any subsequent government you may elect will have any power whatsoever to take it back. That is how serious it is. I’ve read the treaty. I’ve seen this stuff about [world] government and climate debt and enforcement. They are going to do this to you whether you like it or not."

Never mind that climate change data has been doctored by fraudulent scientists who fudged data to support pre-conceived conclusions. Never mind the concerted efforts by those same scientific frauds to repress research discounting mankind’s effect on the temperature of the earth. None of that matters because the real reason for all of this was political in nature – to create a cult of climatology so as to coerce the masses into giving up their God-given freedoms willingly.

And we’re coming too late to the party. Our elected representatives rarely listen to us. Millions marched on Washington this summer. Just last month as many as 40,000 marched to Washington to protest. And still our government does not heed us.

Many Americans know about the healthcare bill. Far fewer people know about this fraud and the stunning ramifications for the U.S. if Obama seeks ratification of this treaty. Just like healthcare, Obama will slip this by an economically shell-shocked population in the nick of time, before they wake and see what the thief has stolen from them in the middle of the night.

This is Obama’s true Ascension: sacrificing the United States’ wealth to save the third world on Copenhagen’s altar of Climatology in atonement for Original carbon-based Sin. There’s one question still unanswered: will the Climate Messiah allot room on Air Force One for the Most Reverend Al Gore to join him as the world witnesses Obama’s Ascension into the glory of Copenhagen?

Professor Nidal Hasan -- the 21st Century Bill Ayers

Professor William Ayers lives a quiet life of academic prestige. But 40 years ago, young Bill Ayers fully embraced the anti-war movement, condemned its ethnocentric assault on the yellow man, and acted on his passion. His Weather Underground bombed the New York City Police Department, the Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol Building to protest the Vietnam War.

A generation later, Dr. Nidal Hasan also fully embraced an anti-war movement, also condemned its ethnocentric assault on the brown man and the Muslim man, and also acted on his passion. He opened fire at a military base in Texas.

One can only wonder if, say, two or three decades from now, Professor Hasan will be endowed the William Ayers' Chair of Cultural Evolution at the same state university where Ayers now enjoys honored tenure.

And why not? Leftwing America embraces Bill Ayers. A somewhat younger Barack Obama embraced Ayers in the 1990s, moving into his Chicago neighborhood, socializing with him, getting appointed to the same Board of the politically charged Woods Fund - along with friend Rashid Khalidi, radical Muslim and former Arafat spokesman (yes, that Arafat, the now-deceased leader of the PLO terrorist organization).

Leftwing America rewarded Bill Ayers with a tenured professorship. Why shouldn't the Left now embrace Nidal Hasan? How was his crime different from the Weather Underground or Bill Ayers? If anything, Hasan can claim a more personal affront than Ayers, as Hasan, an Arab Muslim, suffered the indignity of serving in the same military that waged its unprovoked war-based-on-lies against fellow Arabs and Islam.

But as in the Vietnam era, you will not immediately hear any vocalized "attaboys" from the Left. They will, as they did with Ayers, solemnly wag their fingers and demand "justice" (though, to the Left, their vision of justice was likely served with Bill Ayers.) So for now, we are lectured about not jumping to conclusions, with commentaries on how the emotional stress of Bush's War has caused untold stress on many a good man. The stage is set. In 2040, Professor Hasan's leftist biographers will solemnly wag their fingers at those who condemn Hasan. They will observe how Hasan acted out, perhaps inappropriately, but only in response to the bloody pogrom waged against his Arab and Muslim brothers. No, we never would condone his specific act of violence, but we must not be judgmental and allow emotion to cloud an appreciation of why he felt the need to act so boldly.

But that is the rhetoric of 2040. Today, we hear the obligatory "tsk tsks" from the Left, though give it time. It took decades, but they feel safe in letting their guard down when speaking of Ayers. The leftist FactCheck.Org cautions against describing Ayers' bombings as "terrorism" (sound familiar in the current stories about Hasan?) And as Obama lectured us during the campaign, Ayers may have "engaged in some despicable acts 40 years ago", but ....

An FB friend of mine told me the Democrats have a website up encouraging their loyalists to write letters into local newspapers praising the Obama Health cre bill. (BTW, Michael Steele -- where ARE you and the RNC already, taking notes I hope?) I used their website to submit the following letter to the editors of local papers.
I entitled my submission "Obaminable Healthcare." Here's what I said.

"November 7th, 2009 is a date that will live in infamy. On that date the United State House of Reresentatives indeed made history: It passed the biggest socialist grab for power this country has yet seen.

H.R. 3962 the "Affordable Health Care for America Act" forces people to pay thousands in fines and taxes for failure to comply with government mandated insurance. Sec. 412 (p. 272) of the bill says that employers must provide a "qualified plan" for their employees and pay 72.5% of the cost, and a smaller share of family coverage, or incur an 8% payroll TAX!! The Congressional Budget Office estimates that an individual earning $44,000 before taxes who purchases his own insurance will have to pay a $5,300 premium and an estimated $2,000 in out-of-pocket expenses, for a total of $7,300 a year, which is 17% of his pre-tax income. A family earning $102,100 a year before taxes will have to pay a $15,000 premium plus an estimated $5,300 out-of-pocket, for a $20,300 total, or 20% of its pre-tax income. People who do not comply will FACE PRISON -- all for choosing a health care plan that does not comply with what the feds think is proper!!

This is government control over people's choices. It is governmental take over of people's businesses and the freedom to choose how to spend their own money. It is marxism plain and simple , taking our money and dictating to us how we are to run our lives. It is an assault on individualism and capitalism -- the two driving forces behind this great nation.

America, it is time to STAND UP and defy this governmental threat to your liberty. If this bill becomes law, our country will be chained financially and crippled for decades. Call your Senators and tell them in no uncertain terms that this bill is wrong for America. Do it today while you still have the freedom to act.

The Conservative Take Over has Begun

I want to go on record BEFORE the returns of the three key elections today (Virginia, New Jersey and NY-23).

I am a proud part of what the state run left wing media is already calling the "Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck" wing of the Republican party -- as though that's a bad thing!! The new conservative is taking over the Grand Old Party from within. I am symbolic of that new conservative voter, people who have been disenfranchised by their own party's abdication of values.

My message to RNC: run conservative candidates and ride that wave to victory or run "moderates" and continue losing election after election. Frankly, you have nothing to lose.

You have my heart and all I can muster to turn out the vote or whatever else we need to win PROVIDED the GOP runs conservative PRO LIFE candidates. No RINOs. No wishy washy republicans who are pro-choice but claim to be "socially conservative" like our present govenor in California. Such candidates ultimately vote democrat and undermine republican power and erode the voters' faith in the GOP. There is no point in replacing liberal Democrat with moderate "republicans." They are in reality the same thing.

First Things First

"If we ever forget that we are one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under." Ronald Reagan.

Americans are first and foremost a people of Faith. The Founding Fathers formed this nation according to the Judeo-Christian faith in one triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God's own natural laws serve as the basis for Declaration of Independence: "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness." The Constitution protects these individual rights which flow from God's natural law. These tenets are non-negotiable because they are from a higher authority. The Founding Fathers did not make these priniciples up.

Liberalism opposes these Constitutional protections because liberalism is based upon the STATE'S rights over the people. Said differently, liberalism seeks to diminsh personal rights in favor of the government's power to rule. That is why liberals are desperately seeking to control major economic and social structures in the U.S. If they succeed, the government will gain tremendous power over individuals. And it will be very hard to undue the damage.

As Americans, as people of Faith, we must stand for individual rights. We must oppose an increase in government control at all levels in society because our foundation is one of INDIVIDUAL, personal rights given by God. Or as the Founders said more eloquently in the Declaration of Independence, all men are "endowed by their Creator with certain unalieneable rights, that among these are the Right to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

So, at the very beginning of all endeavors, it is good to start as the Founders started this nation, as Congress starts its day -- with recognition of God the Creator, with thanksgiving to the Him who saw fit to give us the blessing of life in this greatest country of all time, America.

Take a moment to wave, nod your head or wink up at God with a whispered "thanks" before your work each day. Ask for His protection and guidance in what you do, big or small.
